Auction Tips

Tips

- Buyers should, if possible, preview the items they wish to purchase prior to the sale.  That is, examine the goods for defects and condition.
- Research local firms that sell those items for a guideline of used and new prices.
- If you are knowledgeable in your quest to buy, then determine a value prior to auction and act accordingly.
- Auction fever can change your values and in some instances, you pay more.  However, in other cases, you do buy at substantial savings.
- After attending a few auctions, you may have more confidence and understand the auction method.
- New buyers will always receive information from the auction firm and/or auctioneer as to any inquiry you may have.
- In establishing your values, please also consider the buyers premium in your bidding.
