BC Auctioneers History

1. Formed in 1984 to provice a voice for auctioneers and auction firms in Britsh Columbia
2. To promote the auction industry in B.C.
3. To provice a professional service to their customers
4. Work with provincial and federal government agencies in obtaining ligislation that will assist the consumer and consignor in their dealings with auction firms
5. Assist auctioneers in providing services and keeping them informed of any changes in legislation that may affect their operations
6. Annual meetings and Conventions which provide a forum for all members to discuss issues, attend seminars and create fellowship amongst it's members
7. Kepp all auctioneers in British Columbia informed when matters affecting our industry require input and dialogue from all auctioneers

Our association can assist the general public and business community if there is information required or if there are questions concerning the auction profession in British Columbia.
